PSHE/RSE at LEAP
The PSHE/RSE curriculum at LEAP is broad and balanced it is accessible to all pupils and covers the statutory requirements.
Our curriculum offer assists our pupils to acquire and develop the skills, key knowledge and understanding that will enable them to flourish and to become responsible citizens who contribute to our society.
Pupils will be exposed to scenarios covering the following range of topics:-
- Anti-bullying
- Careers Education
- Drugs, Alcohol and Tobacco Education
- Economic Wellbeing and Financial Capability
- Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health
- Healthy Lifestyles
- Relationships and Sex Education
- Safety (including Physical and Online Safety)
Pupils will have the opportunity to discuss, reflect and evaluate the impact and identify possible solutions to these scenarios.
Throughout the course the pupils will tackles many of the moral, social and cultural issues that are part of becoming young adults.
